The Accra sports stadium came to a halt as The Empress of
Gospel
music in Ghana and beyond took to the stage to minister in songs...
The gospel songstress really shook the place with her band
'Smile band'.
She did fine tunes from her old and current albums...
She came in triumphantly with a special costume that fits the
occasion.
Critics took to social media platforms to justify whether it
was right for her to minister at such a concert.
But I strongly believe she understands her call and how to
put her message accross.
In an interview last Wednesday with the queen of radio mid morning shows(SokooHemaa), Empress
Gifty Osei stated 'if she has to go to minister in nights clubs for the unsaved
to be saved,she'll do just that.
Her key scripture Matthew 12:11 states'From the days of John
the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the
violent take it by force'
This year’s S Concert is
being held at the Accra Sports Stadium (GA-111-8662), venue for last year’s
record-breaking numbers.
Organized annually since 2014 by the EIB Network-owned Starr 103.5 FM, the concert is yet Ghana’s biggest celebration of its A-List and budding artistes.
The 2017 S Concert was sponsored by Storm Energy Drink, Accra City Hotel, Express Savings and Loans, Ghana Post GPS, Hubtel, and Cosmopolitan Health Insurance.
